How We Support FVE
We support the staff and students at FVE in many ways!
Loaves of Love
In February, we host a lunch for all the staff. We offer fresh made soups, salads, coffees, chocolates and Rollin' Street Bakery makes mini loaves of bread loaves. It's a nice mid-winter break.
Beginning Of The Year Teacher Fund
We fund programs, fieldtrips, supplies, books, really anything the teacher needs (not provided by the district) for their classroom that supports them and their students. Every year, the PAC gives each teacher $300.
Staff Holiday Gifts
Our parent community raised $12,009 for holiday gifts for the staff of FVE this year. Some staff members were able to travel for the holidays which would not have been possible without the donations from parents. The parents spread so much holiday cheer!
Teacher Appreciation Week
We love to SPOIL and show our teachers and staff our gratitude by supporting them through Teacher Appreciation Week . We are so grateful for the impactful work they do every single day. We cover their lunch and recess shifts, offer pop-up classroom supply "store" where teachers can grab their favorite items, free massage, acupuncture, meals all week, coffee bars and snacks and sweets galore!
Parent Teacher Conferences
This is an essential part of connecting the parent community with teachers, and it makes for a long day at the school. PAC provides two hot meals for teachers to enjoy for dinner throughout the week. This year for Fall conferences we offered vegan/GF pasta and lasagnas, breads, salads and home-made sweets!
End Of Year Staff Gifts
PAC loves supporting our fabulous staff at FVE. Parents contributed to the End Of Year Teacher Appreciation fund and raised $10,435! The parents loved the ease of it so much and the teachers were overwhelmed with gratitude. What a great way to kick off summer!
Halloween Party
PAC plans and hosts a spooktacular Halloween party for all families of FVE. This year, we had a contest for Pre-K-2 and 3-5 to see which classroom collected the most bags and the winners got a Pizza Party hosted by Elevation Pizza. The kids collected 379 bags of candy!
